Jonathon Woodford-Robinson

Hailing from New Zealand, Jonathon Woodford-Robinson is an acclaimed editor and producer with more than 30 international films to his credit. Having been associated with films like The Lord of The Rings, King Kong and Predicament as an editor, Jonathan Woodford- Robinson has a glorious work experience of more than 20 years at the highest level. He has worked with extraordinary and legendary directors like Peter Jackson, Pan Nalin, Larry Parr and Craig Newland, Robinson’s body of work stretches from feature films to documentaries, Television serials and short films as well which defines his belief in the quality of work. Majority of his films have won various awards and laurels both nationally and internationally.

ASEEM SINHA

Aseem Sinha, having a work experience of more than 25 years at the highest level. He has edited more than 100 films, like Mohalla Assi, Well Done Abba, Welcome to Sajjanpur, Dasvidaniya, Ramchand Pakistani, Dil Hai Tumhara, Haasil, Zubeida etc. and worked with greats like Shyam Benegal, Kundan Shah, Ketan Mehta, Punkaj Parasher, A. K. Bir, Sagar Sarhadi, and Kalpana Lajmi. He has also been associated with famous television serials like Chandrakanta, Reporter & New Karamchand.his body of work stands tall and impressive. Majority of his films have won various awards and laurels both nationally and internationally, and recently he awarded Best Editor for the English Feature Film “The Answer” in France.

Dr. CHANDRAPRAKASH DWIVEDI

Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi is a well recognized Indian film and television director and script writer, who is best known for directing the 1991 television epic Chanakya in which he also played the title role of the political strategist Chanakya. With over 25 years of experience, Dr Dwivedi has directed National award winning film Pinjar that deals with the Hindu-Muslim problems during the partition of India, He has won accolades and awards for direction for his film Pinjar and it remains to be one the finest films made in past 15 years. In 2008, Dwivedi directed a television serial based on the Upanishads titled Upanishad Ganga. And after that he worked on Mohalla Assi based on a novel by eminent Novelist Kashinath Singh, His last Release was a political satire Zed Plus.

KUNDAN SHAH

Kundan Shah, having a work experience of more than 30 years as a director and screenwriter, who is best known for his comedy classic “Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro” in the year 1983, and TV Series Nukkad in 1985-86, and in 1988, he started directing “Wagle Ki Duniya”, based on cartoonist legend R.K. Laxman’s character the common man. After the successful innings in the television he made comeback to Cinema in 1993 with the famous “Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa” and wrote the screenplay himself. In 1998 he made another critically acclaimed film “Kya Kehna”, and after this he directed several films including his last release in 2014 “P se PM tak”.

Royalty Share Program

Shaan-e-awadh International Film Festival’s main mission is to provide directors with an opportunity to showcase their creations to the worldwide audience. In correlation, we have started providing a service for directors which generates revenue for their short films that are submitted to the Festival. This program aims to provide benefit to directors once a profit is made through the distribution of movies.

Under the Royalty Share program, our goal is to portray short films as a powerful cultural and educational communication tool. SAIFF is supported by Splash Etcetra, a company which possesses multiple routes of distribution to public agencies and educational institutions in various markets. We place our marketing efforts in cultural and educational fields where films are utilized in many programming styles such as screenings, broadcastings and DVD packaging. Moreover, whenever an opportunity arises, we will approach other markets and try our best in marketing films for entertainment purposes as well.

Through this program, in addition to the monetary benefit for directors, many viewers will be introduced to the educational and cultural value of short films. Any income generated through the activities explained above will be remitted to your bank account (Kindly note that the Royalty Share Program will be applicable only after a profit has been made). We sincerely encourage all applicants to take advantage of this opportunity in generating additional revenue which will not only assist you in your further production, but also increase the awareness of short films in India and worldwide.
